First of all, the pure online store need ship the goldfish to its customers, and GoldFish Queen dones't think the shipping fee is cheaper as like Amazon ship a book. It decides your goldies won't be inexpensive, even it costs almost 150% than shipment free, people will think it is not worth, except the goldfish hobbyists. Another words, pure online goldfish store may only serve the goldfish hobbyists.
Then, not only you have to stock some top grade goldfish, but also you should keep them and feed them very well. It needs you lots of knowledge how to keep, breed and feed goldfish. It will spent your time a lot for sure. Your time, goldfish food and more patient works, etc, will increase lots of cost of your business.
Maybe your online store will save the retail space you rented, but you still need some space to place the aquariums well. Moreover, the turnover of your business is the biggest problem although your unit sold price is higher, GoldFish Queen has to remind you that the high grade fish will cost you more to buy fish from your wholesaler.
