If you (in US) intend to import goldfish or other wildlife for commercial purposes, the regulations contained in Title 50, of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 14.91, should be followed. You must obtain an Import/Export license prior to engaging in business as an importer or exporter of wildlife or wildlife products by this regulation.

The license is valid for one year from the date of issuance and costs $100.00. In addition, as an Import/Export license holder, you must pay a $55.00 inspection fee for each shipment of import or export under the license.
